Luxury beach-front hotel located in Catembe, Maputo directly off the Indian Ocean, designed for the emerging tourist market.

It is comprised of hotel suites and private villas designed around courtyards, incorporating pools, public spaces etc. The Beach Hotel is terraced along the mountain to maximise ocean views and ordered around landscaped gardens and pools. Each of the private villas are pavillions in the landscape, complete with their own facilities. There is direct connectivity to the beachfront, to ensure easy access for guests. The terraced designed forms allow natural ventilation of buildings, thus minimising the use of mechanical systems.
