A trek / yatra was undertaken by an architect, in the footsteps of Shri Nilkanth Varni, to Pulhashram (Muktinath). He journeyed for 180km, from Pokhara, passing through sacred mountains (Annapurna, Kala Parvat, Thorong lo pass, etc.), rivers (Kali Ghandaki), forests and the deepest gorges in the world, in order to reach his destination, 3800m and 5400m above sea level. The climate ranged from a tropical, humid 30°C to -10°C on the mountains, and everything inbetween as he passed historic villages and farmlands, untouched by modernisation.
