Nepal

A trek / yatra was undertaken by an architect, in the footsteps of Nilkanth Varni, to Pulhashram (Muktinath). He journeyed for 180km, passing through sacred mountains (Annapurna, Kala Parvat etc.), forests and the deepest gorge in the world, in order to reach his destination, 5400m above sea level. The climate ranged from a tropical, humid 30°C to -10°C on the mountains, and everything inbetween as he passed historic villages and farmlands, untouched by modernisation.
